Commercial and Industrial
First of all we are not your typical "duct cleaners". We are North Dakota's largest Ventilation Systems Cleaning Contractor. We have experience with HVAC hygiene and cleaning service, maintenance programs, building investigations, microbial sampling, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Find out why many of the local cleaning and restoration companies have decided to give us all of their business. They know that it takes experience, equipment, safety, and conscientiousness to reach the high standards we have set.
We are also in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. Home Heating has been in business since 1942. We are bonded and insured for over a million dollars. Our company is licensed in HVAC and plumbing. Besides all the training and experience we are clean and very professional. We are courteous and protect your building with the utmost respect for your property. We contain all the dirt, dust, and debris from the ductwork and use source removal methods to gather this debris into our vacuums.
Although there are endless types of buildings there are basically only three types of HVAC systems.
- Light commercial - any business or building, (one story or high-rise) that has an AHU of less than 10,000 CFM.
- Commercial - any business or building (one story or high-rise) that has an AHU of 10,000 CFM velocity or greater.
- Industrial - any business or building used to manufacture products.
We tell you this because the small business who hires us wants to know that some of the largest corporations in America have trusted us to clean and maintain their work environment. It is important to be confident that you are making the right decision in hiring your ventilation systems cleaning contractor. We are confident you will never regret calling us to discuss your IAQ concerns. Day or night, week day or weekend, we will complete the job efficiently, professionally, safely and conscientiously at your convenience.
When we leave the project each night, the building will be clean and ready for business the next morning. Some smaller jobs can be completed over the weekend, schools during Christmas break or summer, and hospitals on a 24 hour, 2 crew shift running 12 hours each completing the job quicker for your convenience. We will work with you.
We have cleaned everything from multi-story office complexes to school systems, hospitals, universities, government buildings, industrial buildings, restaurants, lumber yards, pet kennels, hair salons, court houses and jail houses, fire stations and the list goes on. No job is too small or too large. You can rest assured knowing that we have already completed a facility similar to yours. Please call Home Heating to help you with whatever IAQ concerns you may have.
Living, Breathing Buildings
Buildings are like our bodies. If you take care of the building it will have a longer life span. If you do not properly maintain the building, then some of the internal components will run down. These internal components are like internal organs. An air handling unit (AHU) is like your heart. It pumps and circulates air through the building like blood through your veins. The ductwork is similar to your veins and arteries; it runs throughout the building like a maze.
In this maze of ductwork lies numerous dampers, turning vanes, zone boxes, smoke detectors, etc. Dust, dirt, chemicals, toner, microbes and other debris buildup in an HVAC system over time and clog the ductwork like cholesterol lining the walls of your arteries.
Even worse than slowing down the airflow and making the equipment run harder is the effect that the microbes living in this dust have on the people who work in the building. Whether there is an actual "Building Related Illness", a "Sick Building Syndrome" or just an HVAC system that has never been investigated by a certified professional, allow us to be the "doctors" that perform a building investigation. We will probe, check, test and find things that others simply overlook. Then, we will discuss with you a plan to solve the IAQ issues at hand. To be honest, duct cleaning isn't always the answer; it is only a piece of the pie.
However,
when it is needed, it may be the biggest piece of the pie. We let you know when cleaning the HVAC system isn't the answer. There may be another source causing the IAQ complaints or problems.
Our experience and education with IAQ and how it relates to HVAC hygiene guarantees that we will give you a prompt and accurate diagnosis and recommendation for improving the IAQ of your building. By improving the IAQ of your building you are ensuring a healthier environment for you and your employees. Healthy employees means less paid sick leave and less sick leave means more work completed.
We know what that means: a more efficient operation which will bring you more profits over time.
A small investment now in maintaining your building will reap a hundred fold return in healthy, happy employees doing their jobs in a neat and clean work atmosphere. It's kind of like your body: Take care of it now, and you will be able to enjoy a long and healthy life.

Attention Schools and Hospitals
Exhaust fans and their duct systems really become clogged.
Cleaning these is a very important part of maintaining a healthy building.
You must remove the contaminated air from bathrooms, janitorial supply closets, and other rooms of potentially high volatile organic or chemical compounds. According to studies by Susan Womble of the EPA, almost 50 percent of the exhaust systems in America's public school buildings are not working. Whether it is a simple broken belt or a completely clogged damper or turning vanes, it will produce the same IAQ problems.
Inside your buildings are precious students, patients, and employees. They need preventive measures to protect them from the adverse effects of clogged systems. When exhaust systems become clogged and aren't working properly, pollutants have nowhere to go but build up and cause the people inside to experience different irritable symptoms. Carbon monoxide, dust, and various chemicals are just a few of the pollutants that can build up in a clogged system.
Even original construction debris, such as this bag, get sucked into the system and block the ability of the system to remove stale air.
We can find these problems that others overlook. |
